Norm Schoenfeld | General Manager Business Development
Norman Schoenfeld began his career working for the legendary Sugar
Hill/Chess Records where he was the Executive Producer, in charge of
reissues for Chess Records. He was hired at MTV Networks where he
helped to launch and develop the programming for VH1. Norman was
recruited by DDB Worldwide Communications to direct their entertainment
and integrated marketing initiatives for Pepsi, EMI, Hershey and
McDonalds. This success led him to Cablevision/Rainbow Media where he
headed up programming and production for the music channels Much Music
USA, Fuse and Rave HD. Most recently Norman played a key role as
founder for the AOL joint venture Lat34.com, a broadband portal targeted
to the action sports community and lifestyle.
Jon Chang | Creative Director
Jon Chang got his start on Silicon Alley in 1995 in NYC's first web studio, Interactive8. He went on to become a Creative Director at One e-Europe, Sorceron, face2face animation and AVM Software where he led the creation of web and multimedia projects including the animated TV series Scratch Trigger Era, the TV series TF34, the machinima series SAPFU Inc., Palktalk video chat client and social networks, Skittles: Taste the Rainbow web game and the shareware game KETM (which was later ported to Dreamcast by fans).
Phil Smith | Director 3D Animation
Phil Smith got his start at 3D Creations in the mid 90's when Advanced Visualizer was the state of the art in 3D software and Ascension's electromagnetic motion capture fresh out of the box. His first leadership role as Art Director on Disney's Ride the Comix propelled him through a series of projects including MetaCreations Dance Studio game, the Sorceron Cauldron 3D editor, AOL's Superbuddy and Instant Greetings projects. He served as Director of the weekly animated series "Outside the Huddle" for CBS Sports between 2003-2005 at which point he became involved with Echelon Software and Black Powder Red Earth.
Tom Lunt | Strategy + Editorial Development
Tom Lunt, whose creative history includes stints as a Creative Director/Copywriter for both The Leo Burnett Company and Corporate Profiles DDB New Europe, working on creative and strategy for Mc Donald's, Reebok, Coca-Cola, Miller Brewing, Tropicana, GM, Nissan and many more global brands. Tom operates independently as a music producer/director and is also currently Minister Of Culture, Partner and Reissue Producer of The Numero Group - the world's foremost historical music reissue label.
Altay Murat | Technical Director
Altay Murat began his career in software development in 1997 at Katrix Millenium Rush, a game developement studio in Princeton NJ where he was on the development team responsible for the DisneyQuest Virtual Reality attraction "Ride The Comix". He lead the development of the Katrix 3D engine which powered MetaCreations "Dance Studio", a commercial release for the PC in which the player choreographs the movement of 3D character to music. Altay has continued to develop cutting edge IP, as lead client developer at Paltalk, the leader in online video chat prior to joining Echelon as CTO.
